Have you got a piece of furniture at home that could use some TLC? 

Are you interested in learning the art of DIY?

Join us in the studio for an immersive experience where you’ll discover how to reupholster your old furniture and make it look brand new!

​

In our Beginners Open Class, you’ll pick up a variety of upholstery skills while having access to professional-grade tools and equipment. Plus, you’ll have loads of fun along the way! By the end of this two-day class, you’ll have created a stunning, one-of-a-kind piece of upholstered furniture to take home. This hands-on experience will equip you with the knowledge and skills for your next project—because we’re confident that after one session with us, you’ll be hooked on upholstery!

The course fee covers one tutor, ensuring excellent one-on-one teaching, along with the use of all equipment, tools, and basic supplies. Please note that if your project requires extra materials, such as new foam or replacement buttons, an additional fee will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Before the class, simply email us a photo of your piece for approval (unfortunately, we can’t accommodate a sofa), and pick out a fabulous upholstery fabric! You can either bring your own fabric or order from us at a 10% discount for workshop participants. Check out our fabric page for some inspiration.

If you choose to order through us, please allow at least two weeks for delivery before the workshop, and up to six weeks for indent fabrics. We’ll provide coffee and biscuits, and there will be lunch breaks each day. Don’t forget to bring your own lunch and some water to stay energised!

WHERE: 27a Annalong Road, Dannemora, Auckland
WHEN: Two days from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm (including a 30-minute break).

Please remember that workshop cancellations must be made at least three weeks in advance to qualify for a refund. Cancellations made after the three-week deadline may still be eligible for a refund, at the discretion of Vision 360 Upholstery.
